Update 3/17: Michael Bay has denied the 2011 release date by writing on his official website, “I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating Transformers 3 – they asked me on the phone – I said yes to July 4 – but for 2012 – whoops! Not 2011!!! That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots.”
It’s official. Paramount and Dreamworks have announced that Transformers 3 is being made and will be released on July 1, 2011. No other details have been confirmed such as whether Michael Bay will be directing or if Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox will be returning.
This is great news but 2011 is so far away and I’m still anxious waiting for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen on June 24, 2009, this summer.
