Tonight at Sony’s PlayStation 4 midnight launch event, Naughty Dog revealed that they’re not done yet with the PlayStation 3 and gave everyone a quick teaser of what we can expect next from their smash hit The Last of Us.
“Left Behind” is actually Naughty Dog’s first ever single-player DLC and is set for release in early 2014. Lead character from the original story, Ellie (Ashley Johnson), will be returning as the main protagonist once again, alongside a new character named Riley. Because the DLC takes place while Ellie is attending a military boarding school in one of Boston’s quarantined zones, it’s actually prior to her meeting Joel and the events of the main campaign from The Last of Us.
The DLC is included in the Season Pass deal or available for $14.99 on the PlayStation Store.
