Well it’s April 1, 2009 and like always game developers have started having their April Fool’s Day fun by releasing all sorts of bogus news information. Guerilla Games has announced via their official site that:
It looks like the cat’s out of the bag: yes, it’s now possible to play as Visari in the Killzone 2 multiplayer mode. Several players spotted the Helghast head honcho online following the v1.21 update, and the Internet has been rife with speculation since.
There are also two button combinations listed on the site that supposedly unlock the characters Radec and Visari. Obviously these codes do not work when entered and this is all part of a April Fool’s joke. There is even a link on the site to see “video of the new multiplayer characters in action” however it is not a video of gameplay and instead a video that says “You’ve been Killzoned!!”
