The latest episode of South Park entitled “Black Friday” was easily one of the best in years. On the eve of Sony’s PlayStation 4 launch, series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone perfectly used the current video game console war and Game of Thrones references to poke fun at Americans on Black Friday.
While the episode might not be that accurate with some on its facts and Microsoft’s Xbox One being the more favorable console to the kids, Parker and Stone did a great job of trying to remain neutral and pointing out the pros and cons of both upcoming systems while goofing at how people always love to pick sides. The episode even managed to tease and poke fun at the upcoming South Park: The Stick of Truth game that has been delayed and as a result surely upset some people who pre-ordered it.
In case you missed it, you can check out a teaser below, or even better, still watch the episode in its entirety on the official South Park website.
