How time flies, especially when you’re having fun. It’s been 4 years since MovieStinger was founded, and we haven’t slowed down since. This last year has been our biggest yet with the addition of a ton of new features like a new comments system and our Top 100 User Rated Stingers page. We passed 1,000,000 pageviews back in January and to celebrate that accomplishment we upgraded to big boy servers to support our increased traffic. And good thing we did, because MovieStinger now runs faster than ever and in the past 6 months alone we’ve doubled our numbers by receiving close to a million pageviews, bringing our total stats to 2 million pageviews coming from 1 million visitors from over 200 countries around the world.
All the increased traffic has helped create awareness of the site, and we’ve been featured on many websites and even television. MovieStinger’s reach online has improved tremendously over the past few months and has gone up 220% with MovieStinger.com now being ranked within the top 100,000 websites in the U.S. and Canada and ranked 359,270 in the world.
Just last month we again covered the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, CA, and even had multiple reporters on the showroom floor and behind the scenes. Our E3 2011 coverage far surpassed our coverage in 2010 and featured over 30 exclusive previews and trailers for upcoming highly anticipated games. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our E3 article roundup, which features our own awards like Game of the Show, Best Multiplayer, Biggest Surprise, Biggest Disappointment, and more.
As always, we couldn’t have done it without the support from our users who visit the site and even submit information. If you’re a fan of the site, be sure to Like Us on Facebook and Follow Us on Twitter. We could use some more help getting Likes and Followers, so be sure to also tell your friends. Every year we work harder to make the site better, so keep on the lookout for new features and expect big upgrades to the site over the course of the next year.
Thanks again for all the love and support,
