In the extra scene, Raiden (now hinted to be corrupted by the Jinsei) is shown giving a warning to Lui Kang and Kitana who have now taken control of Netherrealm. He issues one final warning that he will spare no mercy towards anyone who threatens Earthrealm then presents severed head of Shinnok and teleports away.
