Looking exactly like the trailer teased last year at E3, we got a 30-minute behind-closed-doors look at the upcoming open world Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at this year’s E3 and were amazed with how good the Fox Engine looks.
In the demo, you can really see how Hideo Kojima and Konami are bringing the classic stealth Metal Gear style to the massive open world of Afghanistan, which allows for much more variety and even a bit of humor at the right times by introducing new ways to use the iconic box and interact with the local goat wildlife.
You can check out exactly what we saw at E3 in the latest highly demanded video release by Kojima below by skipping to the 41:16 minute mark. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is out now, but The Phantom Pain‘s release date has yet to be announced with it expected to be sometime in 2015 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
