Six years running and still going strong, MediaStinger might be getting older, but that’s not slowing us down. Like every year, we’ve continued to bring new and improved features to the site… and beyond. With a brand new logo, a new more modern site design, and now an iPhone app, the past year has been our biggest and best yet.
In case you missed it, two months ago we launched our official FREE application on Apple’s iTunes Store right at the start of the summer movie season. The MediaStinger app has been something we’ve been working on for a VERY long time, and while it has destroyed my bank account, the end result is something we’re very proud of. Our app includes almost all of the robust features included on our massive site, but made even easier than ever to access on the go with mobile devices. And for all of you out there that don’t have an iPhone, don’t worry, we have something sweet in store for you too and it’s coming later this year. 😉
While not busy working every night on the development of the app, we have been continually filling the site itself with rich new content — always making sure to have the latest movies and game releases covered while still producing as much original news, reviews, and trailers as we can. For the second year we gave out our own awards for the previous year’s best movies, games, and (of course) stingers too. Then just last month, we again covered the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles for the fourth year in a row with three dozen unique gaming articles.
As always, we couldn’t have made it through the last six years without the support from our users who visit the site, comment, and even submit information on movies and games that we haven’t seen yet ourselves. Our team has continued to grow with new contributors who help keep the site up-to-date and we’re always looking for new members to join our team. If you’re a fan of the site, be sure to Like Us on Facebook and Follow Us on Twitter, and if you really want to see us become bigger and better, shoot us an email and join our team of contributors.
Every year we work harder to make the site better, so keep on the lookout for new features and expect tons more big updates in the near future.
Thanks again for all the love and support,
