The last trailer we saw for Max Payne 3 back in November showcased Rockstar’s innovative new character movement animations and had us counting down the days until May 15, but still questioning how it was all going to work online with multiple players using bullet time abilities. Now, in their latest gameplay trailer, Rockstar is showing off how their new realistic animations will be mixed with slow motion bullet time effects to seamlessly work in a multiplayer environment.
At one point in the trailer a player dives off a twenty-foot balcony in slow motion while shooting at his enemies below. That pretty much sums up what I’ll be doing all day on May 15. Well… that and trying to find a way to slow down time in the real world so I can also finally play Diablo III.
