With anything Marvel making millions (if not billions) of dollars, ABC has just picked up Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and given the green light for the fall television season. The show will star Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, returning from the dead, or at least pretend dead — whatever lame excuse they’re using — and will give viewers a weekly look at the agents behind The Avengers.
It will be interesting to see how much of the actual main Avengers are included in the show and how good the special effects are for a smaller budgeted TV show. Even without the main stars and a smaller budget, the show still looks more promising than most of the crap on network television nowadays. Check out the first official trailer for an idea of what to expect next from Marvel.
