The idea of merging the player creation and customization aspect of LittleBigPlanet with the ridiculously fun racing modes of Mario Kart has been something fans have wanted ever since the original LBP. Back in 2010, that idea came to a reality with the release of PlayStation 3’s other exclusive, ModNation Racers. While MNR was amazing, it had nothing to do with LBP and failed to generate anywhere near as big of a following. Now, Sony is giving the kart racing genre another go, and this time it will officially be coming as a sequel to LittleBigPlanet by the original developers and with more modes than just racing.
