The day has finally come, the second coming of Jesu… Call of Duty: Modern Warfare! GameStop is reporting that pre-orders of Modern Warfare 2 have surpassed any other game in history. Tony Bartel, executive vice president for GameStop said this could actually be the biggest entertainment launch ever.
Last night 10,000 stores around the world opened at midnight to sell MW2, resulting in more than 4.7 million copies being sold. And today the world is feeling its wrath as employees, students, even celebrities phone in sick days in order to conquer the campaign mode and/or rank up online. Hey, if Ice-T is busy playing MW2, that means Coco is alone and in need of attention… if only I could… forget it, I’m going back to playing multiplayer.
