Spoiler
Zelda, the Bousch, Ralph, and Allyson exit the theater and head into a Hummer stretch limo as Lee records a video of the family and the play’s poster with his phone. The Bousch notices that Lee has caught him on video, confiscates Lee’s phone, and explains, “There can be no physical evidence of my existence.” The next scene shows Imogene being offered an opportunity to have her play featured in The Times and being introduced to writer/filmmaker Whit Stillman. He tells her that he loved her play and would love to ask her some questions about it if she has some time. Zelda pops up through the roof of the stretch limo and tells Imogene to “Hurry up already. We’re paying by the hour here.” Imogene hesitates and replies to Stillman, “You know what? I’m sorry. I have to go. My family is waiting for me. I have to go.” The next scene shows Imogene and her family and friends partying inside the limo. As the limo drives off, its license plate is revealed to be “JRZFAB”.
Near the end of the credits, there’s a message that says “For the beach towns of New Jersey, whose spirit will weather any storm.”
