If Sony starting off their E3 2015 media briefing with The Last Guardian wasn’t enough, later on in their show they dropped a second huge bombshell.
After teasing fans with the announcement that the original version of Final Fantasy VII was coming to the PlayStation 4 back at the PlayStation Experience — an announcement that was a bit of a letdown — Sony made even more fans’ dreams come true. Final Fantasy VII Remake in all of the PS4’s current-gen HD glory is happening in 2016. Well done, Sony.
While no gameplay or details were shown or discussed, the teaser alone was enough to make the audience erupt and bring grown men to tears.
