EA and BioWare officially announced today that Mass Effect 2, the sequel to last year’s Mass Effect is set for release in early 2010 on Xbox 360 and PC.
“In this dark second chapter, Saren’s evil army of Geth soldiers has just been defeated, and humans, who are still struggling to make their mark on the galactic stage, are now faced with an even greater peril…”

Little is known about the details of Mass Effect 2. One key feature is that saved games from the original Mass Effect will carry over in some way to Mass Effect 2. We need more information BioWare! And what’s with the Mass Effect 2 logo copying Gears of War 2?
