Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Trailer

Adam Jensen is Back on Next/Current-Gen

April 10, 2015 by

He didn’t ask for this… but we sure as hell did. After news leaked that a new Deus Ex game was in development, Square Enix went ahead and pulled the trigger on releasing an official announcement trailer for their upcoming current-gen-only sequel, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

To this day, Deus Ex: Human Revolution‘s E3 2010 trailer still holds its own as one of the best video game trailers we’ve ever seen, so to say that we’ve been patiently waiting for this day is a bit of an understatement and the first look at Mankind Divided does not disappoint.

Following the aftermath of the Aug Incident, Mankind Divided picks up in the year 2029 after the golden era of augmentations is over. Mechanically augmented humans are now deemed as outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. Crime and acts of terror serve as a thin veil to cover up an overarching conspiracy aimed at controlling the future of mankind… and of course, it’s Adam Jensen’s job to once again save the day.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming “soon” on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
