You can always count on Bungie to deliver a kick-ass trailer. In their first live-action trailer for their new IP Destiny, Bungie has chosen the classic hit “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin to perfectly display how a fireteam can work together to take down foes on epic road trips across our solar system.
The trailer, entitled “Become Legend,” is directed by Joseph Kosinski, who also recently directed the Tom Cruise sci-fi/thriller Oblivion. You’ll also hear the voice of Peter Dinklage as the A.I. helper, Ghost, which sounds a lot better than his work in the alpha and beta versions of Destiny.
Both Bungie and Activision have a lot riding on Destiny and are clearly going all-in on promoting the game by bringing in big-budget Hollywood directors. So, it’s going to be very interesting to find out if the game with one of the biggest rumored budgets ever is worth all the hype when it finally launches in just five more days on September 9, 2014, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
