With Bungie still trying to fix everything in Destiny after its widely successful launch last month, the original vault-hunting FPS is making its return this month and telling the untold story set between the original Borderlands and Borderlands 2.
Introducing four new playable characters, new gameplay mechanics, and new low-gravity environments on the moon, the latest trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel even takes a playful shot at Destiny stating “ZERO MOON WIZARDS… OK MAYBE ONE MOON WIZARD.”
This joke of course is in reference to Peter Dinklage’s awkward reading of Destiny‘s odd script (more of which you can read about in our review). Dinklage’s “That wizard came from the Moon.” line has since been removed from the final version of Destiny after being mocked in the beta, but is still available to watch on YouTube, in case you never heard the meme before.
It’s the final countdown with The Pre-Sequel becoming available in just a few more hours on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Will you be picking it up and taking a break from Destiny or waiting for the Game of the Year edition which will surely be released in a few months with all the DLC included?
