In the post-credits scene, Ethan Winters’ daughter, Rose, is shown all grown up and now working with the BSAA or Umbrella.
At the very end of the scene, a mysterious figure of a man is teased in the distance. Modders who unlocked the game’s photo mode have found that the character model for this man is in fact Ethan Winters… whether that means he is still alive or just part of Rose’s imagination has not been confirmed by Capcom.
