From developers Wired Productions comes a fast-paced action-RPG dungeon brawler appropriately named Super Dungeon Bros. Featuring both couch and online co-op for up to four players and procedurally generated dungeons, Super Dungeon Bros looks like a great party game for any group of friends.
In Super Dungeon Bros you choose one of four different colored bros and a weapon before zoning into your dungeon. Of course, there’s Axl, Freddie, Lars, and Ozzie to give the game more character and a rock twist. The gameplay itself is akin to Gauntlet or Castle Crashers with a top-down perspective and a variety of weapon types, both ranged and melee. Some unique features to Super Dungeon Bros are the abilities to use team co-op attacks, stack on top of other bros, and even pick up and throw another bro. There is also unique weapon crafting and collecting to bring you back if the leaderboards aren’t reason enough to beat your best score.
Super Dungeon Bros is one of those games that might not be on your radar, but after my time with it at E3 I can safely say I’ll be picking this game up. I love a good co-op ARPG, and with both online and offline modes Super Dungeon Bros will likely be the next big time-killer for me.
Super Dungeon Bros is set for release in Winter 2015.
