While Microsoft was showing off the new dog physics earlier this week in yet another Call of Duty game, Sony was scheming behind the scenes with Microsoft’s previously exclusive developer, Bungie. Although Bungie’s latest open world FPS game, Destiny, will be on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 like Call of Duty: Ghosts, it seems like Sony is doing all they can to get Microsoft’s ex-girlfriend into bed with them. In the end of the latest Destiny trailer, it’s announced that the worldwide gameplay reveal for Destiny will be shown at Sony’s E3 press conference on June 10, 2013… welcome to the jungle, Microsoft… your move.
It really is interesting seeing all the latest strategic moves between the two brands now that the new console wars are here. Microsoft seems to be putting all their chips into the current Call of Duty fad while Sony is trying to go in a different direction with more of a focus on the potential next big thing from the creators of Halo. Check out the latest trailer for Destiny below, which likely is going to be the next big thing among current Halo and Call of Duty fans.
