During the Credits

There are no extras during the credits of Paranormal Activity 4.

After the Credits

There is an extra scene after the credits that sets up another film in the Paranormal Activity franchise. The brief half-minute clip gives a sneak peek of a spin-off film that is being described as not a sequel or reboot, but a “cousin” to the series. Because the previous Paranormal Activity movies have been especially popular with Hispanic audiences, producers plan to target the demographic with this “cousin” film rooted in Latino-Catholic mythology.

Spoiler
The extra scene is made up of handheld footage by a Spanish-speaking man. He looks at a botánica from across the street and says in Spanish, “There it is… let’s go.” Once inside, he asks, “What is this?” He looks at a figure of Jesus on the cross and down some aisles before saying, “This is all witchcraft. I’m leaving.” He’s startled by a woman (presumably the shopkeeper) who warns in Spanish, “This is just the beginning.” The man quickly leaves.
