Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Free DLC

US Spec Ops Set for Release on April 10th

April 6, 2012 by

The latest Resident Evil game, Operation Raccoon City, has garnered very mixed reviews from both critics and fans. Those looking for the classic Resident Evil experience were upset to find the series with a modern tactical feel, while those who have begged Capcom to update the dated series were treated to a fun and one-of-a-kind multiplayer experience. Unlike most critics who didn’t give the multiplayer the time of day, we’ve played countless hours over the past couple weeks and are still loving it.

If you too are loving Raccoon City, then you’ll be happy to hear that Capcom and Slant Six are already releasing a ton of new content. First, seven brand new missions for the US Spec Ops squad will all be available for players to download for free in less than a week on April 10th for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The extra missions will be from the point of view of the US Specs Ops characters who are currently only available in multiplayer. While said extra missions will be free, there will be even more paid content to look forward to in the coming weeks, like six additional missions along with four new versus mode maps.
