We’re going going, back back, to Cali Cali. Rockstar has released the first teaser trailer, which you can check out below, for their upcoming game, Grand Theft Auto V. After letting gamers run free in GTA IV‘s NYC-inspired Liberty City, Rockstar is bringing the franchise back to the West Coast (the best coast)… well, at least to their take of Los Angeles (Los Santos) amidst an economic recession.
The teaser doesn’t reveal any signs of the other cities from GTA: San Andreas like San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas), but it looks like GTA V will bring back the outdoors (Yosemite?), prostitutes, and maybe a familiar character (the narrator?). Viewers will also notice that GTA V could be introducing dogs, planes, and blimps to the series as well; eagle-eyed ones can even catch an In-N-Out reference. The song in the trailer is “Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake” by The Small Faces.
