There is an eerie black and white scene of Dewey Cox playing the song ‘Walk Hard.’ There is text saying “The Actual Dewey Cox – San Francisco, California – April 16, 2002.” While the scene seems very real, it is really John C. Reilly wearing more makeup and Marshall Crenshaw’s demo playing that he originally submitted to the producers.
