Another big secret announced at this year’s Video Game Awards was Prototype 2. Although many would disagree, I thought that Prototype was better than inFamous, even with inFamous having far better graphics, Prototype was just more fun — and isn’t that the main thing you want from a super-hero style video game?
But I have to admit, while Prototype 2 does look better than the first, it looks too much like the first game with slight improvements, while inFamous 2 is looking like a completely revamped game that could be a serious contender for Game of the Year in 2011. I’m glad to see Prototype 2 in the works, but I’d much rather see it later on with far more love put into it, that way it wouldn’t always be in inFamous‘ shadow.
